Knowledge synthesis

Delivering end-to-end service for systematic literature reviews and Bayesian network meta-analyses.

Systematic literature
reviews

Customer problem

Clients are increasingly being required to conduct large scale network meta-analyses for HTA submissions, regulatory approvals and competitive analyses. The systematic literature review (SLR) components for these projects can be large; running thousands of studies at the screening stage and hundreds at the extraction stage. This can take weeks to months to complete.

What we do

We have systematized completing the search, screen, extract and match components of any review project.
We develop a custom, accurate and clean dataset and perform a synthesis of efficacy and safety evidence of medical interventions, cost-effectiveness evaluations, epidemiology, burden of illness and cost-of-illness, and patient-reported outcomes studies.
We do this in less time than other companies normally take and at lower cost by leveraging a deep network of highly experienced SLR methodologists.

Customer outcome

Working with us, clients will receive the summary of SLRs which can help support the reimbursement processes of their product.  Findings can be used to support development of medical communications, global value dossiers and local submissions.

Network meta-
analysis

Customer problem

Health payers are increasingly demanding a more comprehensive comparative effectiveness data including indirect and multiple comparisons via Bayesian NMA.

What we do

We apply our thorough knowledge of Bayesian network meta-analyses and indirect treatment comparisons to support reimbursement applications. We report results in compliance with PRISMA-NMA guidelines.

Customer outcome

Clients can confidently submit a robust package of evidence for reimbursement applications. Our methods are specifically tailored to each client so that the specific benefits and performance characteristics of their health technology or therapeutic can be brought to the forefront.

Medical
communication

Customer problem

Good scientific writing is difficult. Effectively communicating scientific evidence increases the likelihood of being accepted into high-impact journals or translation of knowledge to payers and providers through Global Value Dossiers and Health Technology Assessments.

What we do

Collectively, our team has published hundreds of peer-reviewed scientific publications and developed GVDs and HTA submissions. We draw on this cumulative experience to develop client copy to an extremely high standard for communication to peers, agencies or the public.

Customer outcome

Clients can confidently present polished scientific reports and analyses for conferences, meetings, and presentations. We develop all required materials for GVDs and HTA submissions and ensure the highest technical quality for reporting and writing based on our broad and deep experience.
