He provides methodological and technical guidance for clinical pharmacology, late phase, and outcomes trials and is expert in building, testing and refining statistical software.
Jim has 40 years’ experience as a biostatistician and his research has been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals including Statistics in Medicine, The Drug Information Journal, and PAIN.Close

Rajat Mukherjee has 15 years of professional experience as an industry and academic statistician, and brings a range of expert knowledge to Cytel’s customers. This includes work in Pattern Recognition problems for devices and biomarker discovery, Bayesian clinical trials, Adaptive designs, and design and analysis of complex epidemiological studies. He is also experienced in statistical computing, survival analysis, longitudinal analysis, nonparametric and semiparametric inference, as well as statistical classification and high-dimensional data. Lingyun Liu is a principal biostatistician at Cytel. She has expertise in advanced statistical methodologies including multiple comparison and adaptive designs, and has worked across a range of therapeutic areas. Working closely with sponsors, she helps them to find optimal design and analysis strategies which meet both study objectives and regulatory requirements.
She has published methodology papers on multiple comparison and adaptive design in journals including Statistics in Medicine, Biometrics and Biometrical Journal. Lingyun obtained her Ph.D. in statistics from Northwestern University.Close
