Join Cytel’s HEOR Consultants at ISPOR US 2022

The Life Sciences landscape has seen an impactful digital evolution in the past two years. The pandemic has accelerated the need for real-time solutions, digital healthcare interactions and the expansion of mobile healthcare. ISPOR 2022 offers the opportunity to discuss challenges and opportunities of the emerging patient-driven healthcare system and HEOR’s role in shaping its development. Cytel’s team of global experts will contribute to several sessions including issue panels, podium presentations and poster presentations, both in person and virtually. At Cytel, we understand how important it is to help our clients make strategic decisions using the complex evidence base they encounter. Our global Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) team of over 150+ HEOR consultants located in Europe, North America and APAC has a proven record of accomplishment and a thorough multidisciplinary understanding of evolving local and global technology assessment (HTA) requirements.

Here is a brief overview of how we can engage at the upcoming ISPOR US Conference, May 14 - 18, 2022.

Issue Panel: Is the Global Real-World Data (RWD) Supply-Chain Broken? Choosing between RWD Quality Versus Locality in Supporting Single Arm Submissions

Cytel’s Scientist, Grammati Sarri, PhD, Health Economics, will moderate an Issue Panel discussion, “Is the Global Real-World Data (RWD) Supply-Chain Broken? Choosing between RWD Quality Versus Locality in Supporting Single Arm Submissions.” This panel will debate, from an industry, academic and HTA perspective if a control arm based on a single RWE data source can be achievable and meet the requirements of different HTA bodies; whether quality or locality of RWE data is the main driver in HTA acceptance and whether current HTA guidance can inform decisions in this area.

Poster presentations by Cytel authors will cover a range of topics including:

  1. Medical Technologies and Health Technology Assessment
  2. Methodological and Statistical Research, Study Approaches, and Economic Evaluation
  3. Clinical Outcomes, Health Technology Assessment, and Study Approaches

Cytel will also be participating in two Podium Presentations:

  1. “Power Implications of Estimator Choice in Synthetic Control Arm Analyses: Results from a Simulation Comparing Average Treatment Effects on the Treated and Untreated Under Propensity Score Weighting” (Virtual Presentation)
    When: Tuesday, May 17th / 4:30pm - 5:30pm ET

  2. “Studies on COVID-19 Healthcare Impacts” (in person presentation)
    When: Wednesday, May 18 / 10-11am ET
