Sadiqa Mahmood

General Manager, Real World Solutions

Sadiqa Mahmood is a physician and General Manager of Real World Solutions at Cytel. Sadiqa’s career has focused on building technologies and utilizing data to drive therapeutic development and clinical care.

Prior to Cytel, Sadiqa served as the Senior Vice President and General Manager of the life sciences business at Health Catalyst. During her tenure, she led the business from its inception to a successful initial public offering and multi-million-dollar SaaS business in just four years. She also supported the global expansion of the healthcare and life sciences businesses at Health Catalyst. Before that, she held leadership roles in several prominent healthcare organizations, including the head of analytics, data science, and informatics functions at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and the clinical strategy and innovation lead for Mass General Brigham (previously Partners Healthcare) — driving operational revenue across 20+ clinical departments & divisions. Sadiqa also designed clinical research programs at the Boston Medical Center.

She currently serves as the Senior Advisor to the Broad Institute of Harvard and MIT and is an executive-in-residence at Iaso Ventures.

Sadiqa has lived and worked in Asia, the UK, and the US. She holds a master’s degree in public health from the Harvard School of Public Health. She spends her time between Boston and Houston. Outside of work, she is a Formula 1 fan.
