CrossOver® is the entirely new member of the Cytel Studio® family developed by Cytel statisticians to more accurately analyze data using 2 x 2 crossover experiments.
The initial version of CrossOver is bundled free with any purchase or renewed maintenance of new StatXact® 8 or LogXact® 8.
What can you accomplish with CrossOver? While applicable to a wide variety of practice areas, 2 x 2 crossover trials are especially valuable in clinical research studies.
See CrossOver example derived from actual study data
Cytel's CrossOver® offers a choice of parametric and nonparametric operations for both continuous and binary data. Consider the tests and procedures included in this new module's first release:
Tests for Continuous Data
Carryover Effect
• Exact Test Using Ranks (Wilcoxon MW, Van Der Waerden, Savage tests)
• Exact Test Using Original Data
Period Effect
• Exact Test Using Ranks (Wilcoxon MW, Van Der Waerden, Savage tests)
• Exact Test Using Original Data
• Exact Estimate of Difference (Hodges-Lehmann Estimate)
Treatment Effect
• Exact Test Using Ranks (Wilcoxon MW, Van Der Waerden, Savage tests)
• Exact Test Using Original Data
• Estimate Difference (Hodges-Lehman Estimate)
Tests for Binary Data
Period Effect
• Exact Mainland-Gart Test
• Exact Prescott's Test
Treatment Effect

Descriptive and Summary PK/PD Parameter Statistics and Plots
New procedures enable the following computations for time vs. concentration data types in 2x2 crossover trials:
AUC: Area Under the Curve.
Tmax: Time of Maximum Concentration.
Cmax: Maximum Concentration.
