Survival design option on Design Wizard dialog
is sometime ghosted.
Description:
This problem was mostly observed while running
East 3.1 on machines with Office 2003 installed.
Solution:
1. Down load survival_31.zip patch
2. Unzip survival3.1.zip
3. Copy survival.dll to East3.1 installed folder.
4. run regctrl.bat.
5. Check survival option is enabled.

East Patch for Non English Windows Operating System Environment
Problem 1:
Error Message: "East 3: No valid license found.Program can not proceed."
Reason: Existing program encounters problem while detecting valid license available on user's system. The problem appears specially in non-English Operating System computers such as Japanese , French etc.
Solution Steps :
1. Save the ‘cylicdll.zi_’ file into a temporary folder. ( e.g. c:\temp )
2. Rename the file as "cylicdll.zip" (i.e. change extension to .zip)
3. Unzip the "cylicdll.zip"file [use WinZip or similiar utility]
4. Rename the file 'cylic.dll' in your East3 directory as ‘cylic_org.dll’.
5. Extract the "cylic.dll" file into your existing East3 directory .
Run East 3 and check whether the problem is solved.

Problem 2:
Error Message : "East encountered error in checking component version"
When it happens : Installing East 3.1 or upgrading East 3.1 from East 3.0.
Reason: Existing program does not detect MS Excel available on user's system properly. The problem appears specially in non-English Operating System computers such as Japanese , French etc.
Solution Steps :
1. Save the ‘East3exe version.zi_’ file into a temporary folder. ( e.g. c:\temp )
2. Rename the file as "East3exe version.zip" (i.e. change extension to .zip)
3. Unzip the "East3exe version.zip"file [use WinZip or similiar utility]
5. Extract the "East3.exe" file into your existing East3 directory .
(If prompted, overwrite the existing East3.exe file in East 3 directory)
Run East 3 and check whether the problem is solved.
