Patch for StatXact 6 with Cytel Studio (version 6.0)
Please note, after applying patch StatXact 6.0 will become StatXact 6.1.

This patch is created mainly to improve speed in the execution of most of the procedures. It also fixes all known bugs, most importantly the bugs relating to:

(a) Import of SAS data files.
(b) Two independent binomials (non-inferiority): error in the estimates of CI limits in certain situations.
(c) Power & sample size: Two independent binomials (difference; conditional): error in distribution file.
(d) Batch command for import.
(e) Batch command for weighted data.

Installation Instructions
To install the patch, follow these steps:

1. Download the ‘SX6Patch1.exe’ file to any temporary folder in your computer. 2. Close your “StatXact with Cytel Studio” if it is running on your computer, before applying the patch.
3. Double-click on the file ‘SX6Patch1.exe’. This is a self-extracting file. It will locate the folders where “StatXact with Cytel Studio” exist on your system, and copy the extracted files in those folders, overwriting the existing files.
4. Click on the menu item “Help-About StatXact with Cytel Studio” to check if the version number has changed to 6.1.
5. If you meet with any difficulty in applying the patch, please Contact Support either via email at support@cytel.com, or call 617-661-2011 and ask for Support.
