Patch 1 for StatXact 4 (version 4.0.1)

The following fixes are in the patch version:

• Ability to import SPSS 8.0/9.0 data files.
• Linear by Linear Association test now gives 'Problem too large' error message instead of abnormal termination.
• One Sample Multinomial Asymptotic Confidence Interval output is revised.

(Note that the version number remains as 4.0.1, after applying this patch.)

Installation instructions
To install the patch, follow these steps:

1. Download the StatXact401Patch.exe file. The file is a self-extracting installation file which replaces four .DLL files in your StatXact directory.
   
   
2. Save the file in a temporary directory. After the download is complete, go into that directory and run StatXact401Patch.exe by double-clicking it.
   
   
3. The following dialog box appears.
   
   Click on the " Yes" button.
   
   
4. The "Welcome" window appears on the screen.
   
   Click on the " Next >" button.
   
   
5. The "Installation Folder" window appears.
   
   

Select the folder in which you have installed StatXact 4.0.1. Click on the "Finish" button.
