Patch for LogXact 5

List of Bug fixes and Improvement for LogXact-5

(After installing the updated files, the version will become:Release 5.0.1)

Fixes for the following bugs:

1. The Likelihood Ratio test gave incorrect results in certain situations.
2. CMLE for %CONST was not computed properly.
3. In one situation, involving a large data set, depending upon the free memory available, the program crashed.
4. While converting Group to Case data, missing values were shown as 0.
5. P-value output under the Probability test was incorrect.

• Asymptotic routines for stratified data work faster now.

Installation instructions
To install the patch, follow these steps:

1. Download the LX5Update1.exe file. It is a self-extracting file containing nine updated program files.to be copied into your LogXact directory.
   
   
2. Save the file in a temporary directory. After the download is complete, go into that directory and open LX5Update1.exe by double-clicking on it.
   
   
3. The following dialog box appears.
   
   Click on the "Next >" button.
   
   
4. The "Location to Save Files" window appears on the screen. Select the folder in which you have installed LogXact 5 (in this case, we selected "E:\LogXact-5").
   
   Click on the "Next >" button.
   
   
5. The following dialog box appears.
   
   Click on the "Yes to All" button.
   
   
6. Click on the "Finish" button.
