Early Phase Dose Finding Methodology Training:
A Very Special East® Software Workshop
April 17, 2015 | 2:00PM
This workshop will provide a hands-on comprehensive review of adaptive phase I and phase II clinical trials through the use of EAST and Compass. We will review phase I designs in oncology that use a statistical model to guide dose escalation to identify the maximum-tolerated dose (MTD) and compare them to rule based methods like the 3+3 and the modified Toxicity Probability Interval (mTPI).
We also review adaptive dose finding methods for phase II trials, and compare classical (frequentist) up-and-down and maximizing designs to Bayesian designs like the Normal Dynamic Linear Model (NDLM), Four Parameter Logistic (4PL) and Emax. The properties of all the designs are evaluated through simulation while we also provide a powerful trial execution module both aided by tabular and graphical displays
Registration now includes a free 30 day trial of East!
